ORIGINAL FLEXlm® DEVELOPMENT TEAM - REPRISE SOFTWARE, INC. RELEASES v2.0 of the REPRISE LICENSE MANAGER

San Jose, CA – Dec 13, 2006 – Reprise Software Inc. today announces the commercial availability of the Reprise License Manager^TM (RLM) v2.0.  This new version of RLM reaches a new high-watermark for innovation to help independent software vendors to package, sell, and deliver their products in ways that their customers prefer.

The RLM v2.0 maintains its design goal of simplicity while adding new licensing functionality into the basic product. The thrust of this release is to extend RLM’s technical advantages for ISVs by adding newly supported licensing models while also increasing end-user access and control over their RLM licenses in the field. The highlights of this new RLM version are:
 

• Token-based licensing

• Failover Servers

• Priorities for Queued licenses, with an Express Lane

• WAN Licensing – Licenses limited by Time Zone

Built upon its existing solid technical foundation, RLM’s new functionality gives ISVs a new standard for selling software using a token-based approach. In keeping with RLM’s “policy in the key” philosophy, this new model can be deployed without manipulating the RLM API in the ISV’s existing applications.

RLM is available on 32-bit Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OSX and Solaris, 64-bit Windows, Solaris and Linux, and Solaris 10 on AMD Opteron. In addition, v2.0 is now in beta-test on 32- and 64-bit HP-UX on PA-Risc. More details, including pricing and additional platform availability information is available upon request.
